Shut off valves for bathroom
I am remodeling a master bath and want to install new shut off valves for two sink faucets and a toilet.
Would like to use quarter turn, ball, angel valves in polished brass.
First of all, are these valves different from "compression" valves?
What is the correct name for the valves I want?
Any suggestion where to buy them would be appreciated.
I've never heard of a 3-piece 4"
Widespread bathroom sink faucet. Not impossible, but must be impractical regarding cleaning and care. I didn't look up model #'s but seems fairly easy to connect valves to spout w/same size tubing of any length. Many times std 7/16" chrome plated brass supply tubing works using original nuts and ferruls and possibly bent w/bending tools to fit like some upper-end 3 piece faucets are designed. 7/16" supply tubing above is also std pro supply tubing from angle stop to valves properly bent and beaded w/captive washer and nut each end so nuts can't possibly be pulled off ends of tubing. Plastic or extremely thin corrugated brass supply tubing is crap in my opinion

Ironic, but this seems to be true for me. I am much happier with my appearnace when I just let my body be. When ever I start to diet or really try and get in shape, I start hating my body and feeling more critical than ever. Does anyone feel the same or know why? I m going to put the answer to the best answer here because I didn t have enough space! Thankyou for the long and thought provoking response! I do agree with you that you don t want to accept the monkey smell simply because you re used an to it and refuse to see that your situation is not ideal. However, in my situation, I think it …
That is because you put unattainable goals for yourself when you diet or try to slim downLearn to love your body. And do not make body ideals out of those photoshopped and starved people in magazine covers. Try to keep your body in its best shape- remember each of us are shaped differentlyif you naturally have a small waist but big thighs, or a wider waist but shapely legs, so be itEmbrace what you have, and focus on eating healthy and being activeScrew the diets!

Hi everyone, we re remodeling our home to put it in the market for sale. Given the comparable properties in the neighborhood, our home in good condition will likely not fetch no more than $170,. The bulk of our renovation funds will be going to be going to remodeling our bathrooms, which are in serious need of a remodel due to unsightly tile grout, old fixtures and unattractive vanity colors. We will have little funds left over for a kitchen remodel, and wondered whether what would be best to renovate to increase the value of our home for sale. The countertops or the cabinets? We have a relatively …
Personally I would chose to give the cupboards a fresh coat of paint, some new updated hardware (including hinges) and a mid range new countertop..maybe a silestone or corian. The look and age of your appliances will make a huge cosmetic difference too as many people cannot see past such things. As you stated, your home will brings in around 17 top, so I would not spend much moneyhigh end products cost a lot of money that cannot always be recouped in all situations.

Check out Ikea..you might have enough in your budget to have both new cabinets and countertops. They are very reasonable and a brand new kitchen will impress buyers.
