Lavatory wide spread faucet questions

Hello all I apologize in advance for the long story... I purchased 2 BRADLEY widespread faucets w/pop-up. Still have receipts (1982.)They had a lifetime warranty (1,000 months.)One bathroom has developed a leak in the trap & where the pop-up hooks up to the pipe. Both faucets & handles are pitted & pretty worn out.

When I called Bradley to replace the parts, I was informed they had sold that product line to Briggs (along with the warranty.) tele tag with Briggs, after numberous voice mails, I was told that warranty was NOT part of the purchase.

I spoke w/Bradley CFO & he said that the warranty WAS part of the deal & Briggs should honor it

Ladies: How does the way I decorated my Victorian apt sound? Beige walls (not allowed to paint), with a white trim, and burgundy curtains, a plant hanging off a rod on top of the window looking above my television, cherry walnut furniture, a stitched rug with a large golden square etched in a burgundy like trim and also What color should my poster frames be? Can they be black? What places sell cheap frames that are gold colored? And also I have a couch, what color cover should I put on it? And lastly, my bathroom has powder blue walls with a light white trim. Is it ok if my bath rug and shower …

    • The colors are good beige, white and burgundy. The carpet sounds nice. Is your furniture modern or victorian? Either could work if the right colors. Don t put up posters, go to garage sales, flea markets and get some inexpensive but well done paintings. It makes the room warmer and more realistic. Don t put gold color frames on them either. Get inexpensive frames and have them match the furniture. Lose the plant or go to rummage sales looking for a nice wooden plant stand that can be stratigically placed in the room for light and esthetic value. Also look at the above named places for …

I am slowly redecorating my bathroom. My theme is bright red and leopard.( I know it s different) So far I have a leopard shower curtain, red bath mat, leopard vanity rug, and a leopard and red towel display. I can t decide weather to get a red tooth brush holder, shower curtain hooks, soap dispenser, and tumbler or if I should go with a more neutral color like bronze/brass finish or a Chrome/silver. Also I have a huge vanity and two huge open spaces on either side of the sink I need filled. What should I put there? Maybe a candle set or towel display? I just don t know. Pictures would be great! …

    • What color is the vanity? red shower curtain holders, toothbrush holder, soap dish & tumbler would look nice. you don t want have too much of any color you want them to blend smoothly. you could put black and bronze in the mix. you must have a very large bathroom. if you go to ikea or target you can find many many good things for bathrooms. good luck. for example my bathroom is teal and brown. my vanity has a brown top and a birch wood (light color) bottom. the floor is while/beige lineolium tiles. I chose to put a 5 tiered chrome stand to put towels and different things on the shelves …

A girl lived in it before me and needs a major make over for guys. I am looking to spend very little money. We cannot change carpet, or paint the walls The walls are white. Im looking for some idea on home made decorations or cheap ideas. Thanks I am moving into an apartment with another guy. His sister was his old room mate and has decked the place out as a girls dream home. We need some major help on a makeover Only problem is we cannot paint …

    • Just completed this exact project. (Same apt, same rules, same cheap budget- 2 guys). Total Cost $500: to furnish, equip, and decorate entire apt. 1)start by telling family and friends that you are looking for "hand me down furniture". Choose wisely from offers, we turned some down (for example a pink floral sofa) 2)start searching and collecting furniture, art, kitchen necessities, etc from second hand stores; great finds/ very inexpensive. (Don t worry IF nothing matches - easily fixed). 3) Choose an on overall colour scheme using your "found sofa" to get …

  • Avatar Gabrielle's Mommy Tiny Rectangular Room Color Scheme?
    Feb 05, 2008 by Gabrielle's Mommy | Posted in Decorating & Remodeling

We are moving into our new house in a little less than a month, and the whole house used to be rented so all the walls are white. Im looking to paint all the rooms, but I need some color ideas. The house is very small, 2 bedroom, 1bath, kitchen, mud room, and livingroom. All the rooms are small, so I know I don t want any dark colors. I am open for any suggestions on any of the rooms! Our living room is rectangular and has one long wall, while the other wall is broken up by the doorways into the bedrooms. I think we may have a blue couch depending if we get it or not. The carpet is a brown/tan …

    • Stick with light colors, the lighter the better. Dark colors will make small rooms seem downright claustrophibic, especially against a white ceiling.
