Need some help with bathroom
I have remodeled a small bathroom with an alcove vanity, all white vanity and white mirrored cabinet above, we put white beadboard/wainscoat on the bottom of the walls, with white molding trim. The vanity top is sort of a granite, black specked with a silver swirl. We chose chrome and white porcelin fixtures, faucets, towel racks, knobs on vanity & mirrored cabinet. Chrome lighting with white frosted glass globe. I have a window above the toilet, so for privacy we installed the rice paper film over the glass to let light in. The floor is marble looking tile squares with tan, light blue/gray swirls

This new category could include things like PLUMBING FIXTURES(faucets, sinks of all kinds, tubs of all kinds, shower stalls, shower doors, toilets), PLUMBING MATERIALS (pipe, fittings, solder, cements, drain cleaners, supply lines, traps). Perhaps another sub-category, BATHROOM, KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY FURNITURE (vanities, medicine cabs, make-up mirrors, tissue holders, towel rods and robe hooks, disposals, dishwashers, etc.)

My friend updated the old bathroom in his log cabin.
He put in a new shower, and fixtures. The knobs he selected for the hot and cold water faucets were heavy white porcelain cross's or x's.
So after his first shower in his new bathroom, as he was drying off he noticed that water was dripping from the shower head, so he reached in to tighten the knobs a little, and snap, one broke off, and the edge was as sharp as razor. It cut his his inner thumb and palm so bad that he has had surgery to repair it but he will never have full strength again.
He thought there was a metal core in them when he bought them

I found a foreclosed home I d like to purchase. The home has about 3 square feet plus a basement. To start, it needs new hard wood floors, paint in every room, new light fixtures in every room, and a new garage door. The kitchen also needs new cabinets and countertops. All three bathrooms also need to be updated. About how much?
Kitchen cabinets and countertops are very expensive, as are new wood floors, even if you re going with laminiate. We just paid $3 for a Silestone counter in our kitchen, and paid $5 for the laminate flooring in 2 rooms and a large hallway. The paint will cost a few hundred, unless you re going to have it painted by someone, then add quite a bit more onto that. Your best bet would be to have a contractor come and give you an estimate. The materials you re going to use will greatly affect that cost of the projects.
